Let customers speak for us
I have a "traditional" style home and struggled to find quality house numbers that aren't modern. My home's exterior is a somewhat dark green, so, in addition to a traditional font, I needed a contrasting color. Most of the options I found through typical sources were brushed nickel it brass finishes, but those felt cold to me. I came up with the idea of copper, but really struggled to find REAL copper until I found David's website. The numbers arrived a few days ago and I installed them immediately - the template made that very easy. The numbers look so correct with my home that it feels like they've been there forever. I'm giddy every time I arrive home and see them. The copper is so warm. I'm really glad I didn't settle for anything less. Highly recommend. I'm already thinking about another set for a different entrance.
This is the second sign we have ordered from David Meddings Design, and it looks really great, and is beautifully made - just like the first one which looks as good as it did when we got it 5 years ago. Thanks!

This house number is a thing of beauty. We haven't hung it up yet as we are in the middle of a deep freeze here in Canada, but the included screws etc. seem straightforward. It's a lovely piece that was obviously made with know-how and care. In practical terms, the burnished numbers show up clearly against the copper patina even from a distance. We are delighted.
I had a specific thing in mind and David was very responsive to my inquiry and made me exactly what I wanted! They turned out beautifully. We are thrilled!
